Third International Workshop on Nano Materials for Energy Conversion (NMEC-3)

03 - 06 MAY, 2017, VNUHCM-US, VIETNAM

Third International Workshop on Nano Materials for Energy Conversion (NMEC-3) May 3-6, 2017, Ho Chi Minh City, VIETNAM

Dear Colleagues,
You are cordially invited to the Third International Workshop on Nano Materials for Energy Conversion (NMEC-3), which will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, May 3-6, 2017.
Follow the successful NMEC-1 (2012) and NMEC-2 (2014), this workshop is organized to strengthen the ties between Vietnamese and international colleagues, and, at the same time, to foster a number of concrete research collaborations. The workshop will provide an interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of advances in the science and technology of materials for energy conversion.
The aim of the workshop is to put together scientific community in a multidisciplinary area of research at the interface of electrochemistry, nanomaterials and energy conversion, and to discuss recent results and open questions in the field.
The workshop will be hosted by the University of Science, a member of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM-University of Science). As a member of one of the two leading university networks in Vietnam, the VNUHCM-University of Science is a distinguished university in teaching and research activities. Among research variety, the developing sustainable and renewable energy is one of the most interested areas of scientists from Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science and Environmental Science Faculties. We are focusing on both basic and applied research aspects of the related fields: energy conversion, materials science, catalytic chemistry, electrochemistry, nano chemistry and environmental chemistry.
Vietnam is a dynamic country that offers an unrivaled experience to international researchers and educators. The wonderful Ho Chi Minh City is suitable not only for high-level scientific discussions but also for relaxation and exploration of its history. The NMEC-3 Organizing Committee is looking forward to welcoming you in Ho Chi Minh City on May 2017.
Best regards,
